Hi Shooters,
I'd love to reach out to your hive mind and find out what additional documents /spreadsheets/contracts etc you would like to be added to our Resources page (Production > Resources)? I know that templates and examples can be really useful when you're just starting out and don't have a sense of what you need to include.
All suggestions would be great.

Hi Helen, I sent Matt a load last year that he was going to put up, but I don't think they ever made it?! I'm happy to send them to you if you PM me an email address - they can be quite helpful!
Also, better for you to source than me (as you'll need to talk to Eloise at PACT, I imagine) would be the full fat PACT/Equity agreement terms (obviously nobody may claim they're using Equity contracts without all the PACT membership and escrow services, so she may decline) as they're comprehensive and may help people. Similarly the negotiated rates PACT/BECTU for different budget levels, or even the crewing bands/groups may help people understand the heirarchy if the rates are too much in flux.
Ratecards and supplier deals would be nice as well.
We here also talked about perhaps a simplified insurance package with fixed and defined bands and requirements to cover the basics of short shoots. That's the liabilities, and kit hire insurance (including hire whilst lost kit is replaced) as a base, and rise with complexity in bands. By templating it, it should be simple for a broker (Essex, Hiscox, Towergate Camerasure, Integro) to give you a fixed price and self-declaration forms so we can make sure all shoots are insured properly.
Just a couple of thoughts!

I hope you think they may be helpful to others, they're all my IP and given freely if anyone else finds them useful - they were all for specific jobs and made more gereric for hobby/enthusiast level use. Naturally I provide no warranty for any of them ;-)
