I've written a feature script (psychological horror) for my Masters and I'm writing a report on Director's Statements. The first step to getting a film off the ground is getting a Producer on board so I'd love to hear people thoughts on writing a Director's Statement for that purpose - particularly from other Directors and Producers.
Dos and Don'ts, things to include (and suggested order), how to present it (images, etc). Also any ideas for additional materials that are useful for communicating the writer/director's vision to Prods, Dev Companies and Investors.
Any help greatly appreciated.
