Where can I buy a retractable knife?

Hey all! I'm in the process of fundraising for an action film (if you're curious: http://www.seedandspark.com/studio/headshots ), and when it gets funded, I'll be on the lookout for a realistic retractable knife for one of my fight scenes.

The $10 spring knives won't work, and a rubber one that bends won't work either--the fact that the knife is retractable will be seen on screen, so need something that gives the impression of really being STABBED, because the characters need to believe something terrible has happened before they realize it's a fake knife.

I've seen a handful of custom-made kitchen-knives, but not anywhere I can actually purchase one of these. Anyone have any leads?

Oh, also try magic suppliers, there's a range of large 'knives' with a concealed cutout to show them going through an arm. Cheesy TV magicians use them for shock street work.

Any reason the $10 ones won't work? Too unrealistic? I suspect realism will cost real money. Perhaps considered direction and some swift edits will get your result, or you've got a friend who can make you something real enough for some glimpses.
