Where can i get affordable stock footage on a micro budget? Specifically, I need crowd scenes and shots of locusts.

I am making a teaser trailer for a documentary called The Human Plague and I need stock footage of a plague of locusts and several crowd shots of humans. We have a very tight budget so need a cheaper alternative to those already found.

When you type in 'stock footage cheap' into your browser, the top three advertised sites are the ones with enough footage for you to perhaps find what you want.
most of the crowd scenes are of feet/legs on pavement or mass sudiences - gets rid of permissions from people.

The cheapest way to get crowds is to blag a good camera and go out at rush hour near busy premises and shoot in the same direction as the crowd is travelling, so you get backs only.

Good luck with it

Google Video Blocks. They had a recent deal where you could download any 20 stock footage film clips per day free for a week.
