We are shooting a Short Film in Late September (1 Day Shoot) and we want to hire the following Samyang Cine Lenses:
35mm (f 1.4)
2 * 85mm (f 1.4)
I'm finding it hard to find anywhere where to rent them.....

Thanks all. We have decided to go with a set of Zeiss Lenses. The reason why I asked was my DOP suggested that the Samyang Cine Lenses would be affordable and do the job as we are on an extremely tight budget.

new day pictures have 'em too.... i have a 35mm t1.5 and its not indestructible, but it works very well... plus they are very lightweight....

Genuine question - are they going to make or break a 1-day shoot? If something is tricky to locate there can often be a reason. Is there something similar (ie what have Arri/JDC/Panalux got?) that will do the same job near enough?

hireacamera.com have a full set. The lenses are a great budget option. Pity there isn't a 50mm though
