Where to find job working in a costume department on big film productions?

Hi, I have a question.

I would also like to work as a costume designer or work in a costume department on film productions. But I don't know where to start? I have searched all over the internet, but can't seem to find companies that send people to go work on film sets as a costume designer or work in a costume department? Because, I know there are lots of big (Hollywood) film productions going on right now. So, there are lots of works to be had. It'd be too bad if I don't know where to get those jobs?

I am an aspiring actress, writer, director, and work as an extra as well. But you can't work as a supporting artiste full time. It's very difficult since many people start doing as well. I have many years of experience working in fashion retail. So, it'd be good to put it to good use on film productions.

It would be worth keeping an eye on the Production > Get Work section of the Shooting People site as we regularly post crew related jobs including costume design work.
