Where to hire video equipment in NYC?

HI NYC Shooters,

could anyone recommend a good equipment house in central NYC to provide a Sony EX1 or EX3, a Canon 5D Mark III and sound equipment? Also, do you know how easy it would be to hire equipment as a foreigner? I am planning a documentary shoot on Dec 4, 2015 and was thinking of renting equipment out in NYC rather than bringing it all the way from Europe, but will need PAL format.

Any advice welcome!
