Not bad as a college project Alex. I think the narrative / story can be improved. Instead of starting with our Warrior getting up as 'normal' maybe to make things more dramatic, he hears a noise ( a trap he has set up) and this wakes him, suddenly he feels in danger and the audience feels something could happen, but also it gives you insight into who he is etc - so when he ventures out there is a sense of tension / suspense rather than just some dude getting up and going out. The little twist at the end could be ironic where he is lead to a trap himself by someone else or a creature (that we don't see but hear - to save on cost!) Even in a few minutes you tell a tense little story. I hope that helps mate.

Aside from the title, what makes the scene an apocalyptic landscape? The hero is clean, has modern stuff in good condition, walks out to a tended field. What is he shooting at? Food, zombie, bear? Or a rabbit because he's chilling in a Cotswold outdoor experience centre and fancies dinner? The shooting and edit were all fine, but the storytelling with the screen elements is where you could look to develop your next film :)
