I have run out of funds for my film so i need to try crowd funding. However I am worried if i show a trailer/teaser clip then I will be disqualified from many festivals having shown parts of it online. Anyone know the specifics. Thank you for reading

Hi Billy,
You've pretty much answered your own question because you've mentioned that the footage you'd be putting up is a trailer. Which is of course not the full film, so would not disqualify you from festivals. In fact a lot of festivals now ask for trailers which they utilise for further promotion, so you're all good. If you're funding raising for the film in question, then I would veer towards a trailer and then explore the rest of the film as stills further into your campaign.
Many thanks,
