ONLINE CAMERA TRAINING FOR SELF-SHOOTERS, DOCUMENTARY CAMERA OPERATORS & BRANDED CONTENT SHOOTERS

COST: £80 + vat for up to 2 hours.

NB: This is specific training for shooters that have queries that can be resolved, improved and worked through with online training, without the need for in-person training.

This training is of most benefit for those wanting to improve the way they use their professional video camera or other equipment to shoot better for TV and documentary (such as APs, researchers, self-shooters).

ABOUT THE TRAINING
This training would normally be applicable for people that have a camera already and have questions or problems that they have not managed to resolve on their own, or functions of the camera that they simply don’t understand how to use properly.

I have had trainees go from using a camera in full-auto mode to nailing manual exposure in just a few hours of online 1-to-1 discussion!
Cameras most often requested include: Sony FX30, Sony FX3, Sony FX6 and Canon C300.

Depending on your camera, with something as simple as a USB capture card and a HDMI cable, it's even possible to plug your camera into a laptop to share your camera's screen via Zoom, so I can see exactly what you're looking at. 

Whilst this may not be the best option for many who need hands-on tuition, there are some circumstances in which this virtual training may be the quickest and most cost-effective solution, such as:

- Gaining a deeper understanding of camera menus and settings, and creating presets for different shooting environments
- Resolving doubt or confusion around certain functions (zebras, colour temperature, ISO etc)
- Create an equipment list for rental or purchase based on your shooting or project needs
- General problem solving or equipment queries
