Wimp (One Man Show)

Wimp is a one man show that I wrote, co-devised and performed in September 2013.
It explores and celebrates all sides of a man, especially the more taboo characters that live within us all.
It explores what it is to be a man in today's world, embracing an eclectic mix of characters, from the edgy to the more vulnerable and tender.
The aims of the piece are to explore and express the wholeness of man including the aspects which society rejects or has no place for. When we air these unwelcome parts of a man we give permission to all men to be whole, to find acceptance in those shamed and condemned places, as well as support man's genius, gifts and potential to lead with compassion and service.
