Funded by the BFI Network & Film London INDEPENDENCE is the story of a young girl taking her first steps out of the care system and into independent living. The film premiered at BAFTA qualifying London Film Festival 2023 and has earned director Karl Jackson recognition as a Film London Lodestar "Director to watch".
