From CK GoldiingAbout the film:
Running time: 9 minutes.
New to crime, two enforcers try an unconventional method.
Starring veteran stand-up comedian/actor Justin Moorhouse and award-winning writer/creator CK Goldiing, Where's The Money is the latest short film from multi award-winning director Joe Zalias; who in just two short years has produced three short films noted for their standout production, dynamic cinematography and gripping plots.
Filmed in Vector studios (Manchester), Where's The Money? is a dark comedy crime triller that explores concepts of toxic masculinity – subtly inviting the audience to question not only whether men should talk openly about their feelings, but more critically, when and where should they do so?
Where's The Money? serves as a proof-of-concept short film, based on which, Zalias has since developed a full length feature film script.
A stand-up comedian since 2009, Zalias has headlined the UK's biggest stages and is one of the most respected MCs in British comedy. A former senior firefighter, Zalias' background is awash with the most unimaginable personal experiences – experiences of darkness and hilarity, elation and depression; from which, he draws inspiration for his storytelling on stage and on screen.
