Hi Anu, This is a fine portrait of the existential meandering drift of the individual who wants/needs to perform & comprehend their place in the world, excellent direction, a perfectly cast Clare (exceptional turn by Sarah Goldberg) who sheds private light on the stories we tell ourselves behind closed doors in the safety of our quite homes. Exceptional DOP work (wonderful visual palette), as well as outstanding score and voice over, that moves this short along with an understated precision. Great work.

Well that was excellent. I agree with Johnny's comments entirely. Really lovely work from everyone. Subtle, beautiful, sexy, sad, believable. If I had any criticism it's just that last shot - to me it wasn't entirely clear what that last room full of women was meant to be. It looked more like a social gathering of some kind to me and not like any casting waiting room I've ever been in... but perhaps that's part of the point...the ambiguity of waiting for an audition looking like a waiting room for hell/hospital/who knows? But anyway, a minor thought in a thoroughly well executed film.
