INDEXA call for Film-making enthusiasts from East Central London for a regular action-based meetup. Are you interested?

I mainly write and am working on a feature script at the moment with some short films lined up, hoping to be made one day. I also don't mind doing some acting and basically doing anything that gives me an overall experience of what the process of making a film involves and how to get the best results.
Saying all that, life is really good at keeping me busy with other things that pay the rent. So in order to keep my passion alive and get some hands on experience, I would love to meet some local film-making enthusiasts on a regular basis and explore the field with them in action-based meetups.
What do I mean by that? I mean getting together on a regular basis and spending those few hours making something and learning about the craft by doing it, analysing it and experiencing it. So if this is something that might interest you too and you are local or happy to travel, drop a line here and should enough people be interested, we'll give it a go.

Hi Peter, it's great to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the work situation, hopefully the creative side will make up for it.
I have very little time to dedicate to writing and filmmaking at the moment and I have a great deal to learn. So I thought to keep my passion alive and learn more about the craft , it would be great to get together with people and actually make short scenes and get some hands on experience.
I have created a meetup group for it to make it easier to keep in touch and schedule meetings. So please feel free to join it. I have also suggested a meetup on 20th there, let me know if you can both make it.

Hey Mandana,
I'm in Angel and have a range of music vid and shorts credits as director/editor/screenwriter/producer. I've also AD'd a fair amount. I'm in the process of trying to establish myself full-time in the industry, so would welcome the opportunity to meet some enthusiastic filmmakers and see what we can come up with.

I would be interested in this - I'm a composer, working on shorts, documentaries & corporate stuff, and am soon to be working on my first feature. I also am slowly drifting into writing. But I'm also simply a huge film fan and would be keen to meet like minded people, learn more about the film-making process etc. Am based in Hoxton. Thanks, Adrian.

Hi Adrian, good to hear from you and glad to know you are up for meeting up. I'm based in Clerkenwell. Let's see how the thread goes. I'll probably also try to gather people on other platforms. either ways will keep you posted with the progress and hopefully it'll be possible to get a little active group together.

I'm an actor and voice over artist based in Dalston. I would akso be inerested in meeting up. I am going to be 100% available before the end of the year as being made redundant from day job and am very intwrested in fueling the creative fires before and after that happens.

Hi, I'm a filmmaker in East London. I'm always looking to meet others of my kind so I'd be interested in popping along to one of the meet ups. I've made plenty of shorts and one feature and always looking for more potential collaborators. I also run a short film night in Forst Hill (on the East London line) which is also a great place to meet film types and would be a potential outlet for anything produced by the group.
