A missing Novel from the 60s.

Back in the 60s I read a book about a film producer's assistant in London who experimented with subliminal film whilst his boss was away in the US. Does anyone remember it? Would love to find it again.

Thanks. I'll google that but mine was a full length novel, not a short story, and as I know Blow Up really well cannot see a similarity.

Hi Franz, it's a long shot but I wonder if you are thinking about a Julio Cortazar short story, first published as "the Devil's Drool" it was the basis for the Antonioni film Blow up and later republished under that title.
