Hi all, I've a good friend who has quite a few house published books on historical non-fiction. The other day she said she'd really like to see them produced as TV or film, but has no idea how to go about it.

I suggested the best option was to find an agent (she doesn't have one at the moment) who specialises, or is good at, such promotion. So, my questions are:

#1 - is that the best advice?
#2 - If it is, can anyone recommend an appropriate agent to take published literary works to TV/film?
#3 - If not, what's the better advice?

As usual, any other comments, recommendations gratefully received.
