Nice to meet you all. I am Yuki, a Japanese film maker, making movies with a dream for an Academy award. Feel free to ask me anything about Japan :D

Perhaps Yuki, you might have anticipated a specific question or two.
Could you paraphrase a question and answer it. A conversation might follow.
I guess it's likely to be the things that divide us rather more than the things that unite us, on a spiritual, moral and cultural level, as reflected in our approach to film and media, that are most intriguing.

The lack of any information on your membership profile isn't a good start.

I visited Japan and had an idea for a horror film which i'd love to make there.
Do they have funding schemes there?

Hi Yuki. Thanks for posting the YouTube links. Not sure how they provide any help here though? Understanding Japanese language and writing is not just a rare accomplishment here, but extremely rare.
There's still nothing discernable in this strand or on your profile that gives us the least degree of reason to imagine anything at all about you.
Nevertheless I'm intrigued to discover the treasure you might be able to offer. What might that be?

Thank you for your feedback! I am just starting to extend my work to the world, so I admit that there are very few work in English. So if you give me a try for some editing or visual effect, I can do that.
Or I am starting a business for a writer who wants to make a movie that takes place in Japan. Instead of him coming to Japan, we will translate, breakdown his script to make his script come true. That would be one of my treasures.

Hi Yuki,
Thanks for starting this conversation. My question: Japanese culture has a very strong visual and design aesthetic. In what ways do you feel this impacts on your own work or the work of Japanese filmmakers you admire? Particularly in ways that may differ from European or American film aesthetics. Bobby
