I made a short film with my 5 year old daughter during the lockdown. Just so that I could teach her a bit of filmmaking etc. Well, the film is heavily based on a picture book that she loves. I wasn't going to put the film out there but now I am thinking why not? So my question is... what do I do next? Does anyone have any experience making films based on published material?

First get permission from the books rights holders.
