I am currently studying a BA in Media Production (3rd year) at Coventry university, and I'm doing a project titled 'Professional Practise Portfolio' in which we have to meet and or be in touch with 10 media professionals.
Ideally I would like to interview several professionals either in person, on the phone or on Skype, to gather up more information. I would appreciate your time, although lack of funds from being student, I will pay for lunch.
It would also be beneficial for me to oversee and or help with a production so I gather a better understanding of my chosen career path, almost a day in the life of a professional.

Daniel, if you can find ten actual producing professionals who are not also a part of the educational community who'll take the time to indulge this exercise, I'll take the time to write a short thesis about film and media degree courses v just learning on the job. It won't be pretty.
