Hey Jon,

I'm a Southampton-based writer, with a horror feature under my belt. Just finished Queen Mary, University of London's Film programme, so I'm pretty well skilled in most aspects of production, too. Let me know if I can be of use!

I am Fareham based and my crew specialty is as Script Supervisor where I have feature film, short film, green screen studio film and 3D experience. My training includes undertaking Script Supervision and Continuity for Film & Television at London Film School and also training for the role at the New York Film Academy.

I am a prize winning writer and have also script edited a number of films.

Finally, I am also an experienced Assistant Director with camera and lighting experience (I was gaffer on an award winning feature film).

Hi Jon, I'm keen to meet and contribute, I'm based near Ringwood. I've a truly terrible slasher movie under my belt as Director, experience in other aspects of film/TV work, but at the moment mainly keen to meet like-minded and chat/think about options.

Good to know it doesn't all happen in central London... :)

But I must admit to 'zero horror' and only limited dramatic experience - until now? But I'm always, always up for a challenge. So what happens next?

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond. Blimey! I'm surprised to see I've received such a response. Yes Steve, where to go with it and what to do next?? Any ideas? I've got several irons in the fire, but am also keen just to get cracking on stuff.

Simply why not just call an initial 'exploratory' meet up thingy at a half reasonable, central'ish pub with a bit of parking. State the location, date and a time sometime in the next couple of weeks. Then we just take have chat and either do or do not take it from there?

I'm a cinematographer, camera operator and branching into colouring.

Hi Jon. I'm a bit of an outsider to most of this lot living in Alton. (Nice people live in Alton. Cars slow down to let you cross the road. No, really). I usually describe myself as an actor/writer. I've done a few short scripts, and I'm currently working on a short story I did for the Alton U3A Creative Writing group I'd like to turn into a short film. It could be a cracker (with the right director!)

Hello Jack and Nick. Sorry, I've been tied up with other stuff this week. Estate agents, becoming an Uncle etc etc. Anyway, yep it would be good to meet up. I was originally looking at either today (too late now as its 8pm already!) or tomorrow. Bit short notice. I have set up a Facebook page - 'Solent Shooters' which Steve (above) has joined. Handy for those on Farcebook. I can meet Tuesday 7th June - I'll head to Fareham anyway and lounge in The Lord Arthur Lee pub on West Street for 12 midday. (54 West St, Fareham PO16 0JN). Anyone fancy meeting up, that would be splendid.
