Can you edit using Crop and full frame images?

Is it possible to edit a piece using footage from a sony a7iii (full frame) and a Canon crop frame camera. Will there be difficulties or will this work? Planning on having a play around with it on Da Vinci but was curious. Thank you so much!

Yes it can be done. Merging different qualities into a stream of frames that flow comfortably together is usually an additional post production task. It's just a processing thing. Where the qualitative differences are great it's often about lowering one quality to the subjective look of the best one can tweak the others. Avoiding blunt 'reality " jumps in visual and audio cuts is the issue

Good direction from John there. If you look at films, they're often a mish-mash of different sources, stock footage, scanned film, 2k, 4k, different cameras, etc. Making it look like it fits together is partly in the edit, partly in the grade!
