Hi Alberto
i have a short script called The Surveyor - easiest if I send you a synopsis - see if you want to look at the complete script.
The Surveyor
A house surveyor arrives to look over the property of a couple. He claims that he doesn’t need to walk around examining the fabric of the building, that he ‘sees’ the building. A trial suggests that he is able to survey the building by a form of clairvoyance.
All going well until he switches from surveying the building to ‘surveying’ the couple. He reveals defects in their physical and psychological make-up that will make them unsuitable partners.
Let me know,
Richard Fitchett

Hi Alberto
Hope you're well.
I have a short psychological thriller about a lonely man who falls in love with a weather girl but becomes dangerously obsessed with her as she doesn't reply to his letters. Lust and obsession are two side of the same coin as he attempts to get her attention through twisted ways.
My preferred genres that I write are horror, thrillers and comedy. Please see examples of my work https://vimeo.com/156836367
If you wish to see the script please DM on Shooting People.
Many thanks
Andrew

Hi Alberto. I have a script you might like. It's more comedy than horror but I like the idea of perhaps swapping that, and your Baghead trailer looked great. How do I send? Laura

Hi Alberto,
I have an idea for a short film that might be of interest to you. It's called The Book and it is a short film with no dialogue that tells the story of a mysterious book and how it affects the people who read it.
The story is told in short scenes, each scene depicts a different character and how they end up reading the book and the effect it has on them.
My idea was to have a different team of filmmakers tackle each different scene. Perhaps you would be interested in shooting one of the scenes? The idea itself is reminiscent of a 1965 film called The Yellow Rolls Royce, written by Terence Rattigan and directed by Anthony Asquith. The Rolls Royce is a device that connects three different stories into one film.
Briefly, the book is found by a bored young boy in a second hand bookshop. He's only there because his mum dragged him and he has no interest in books but this particular book falls off the shelf and hits him on the head. he keeps putting it back but it keeps falling off and hitting him and so he reads it. He very quickly becomes engrossed and finds it funny but just as he's beginning to really get into it his mum drags him off again and, in the process, he drops the book.
The book lies, unnoticed on the floor when a young woman falls over it. She picks the book up, begins to read it and is so engrossed that she buys it. She continues to read the book as she leaves the shop and as she walks along the road she bangs into a young man. They both end up on the floor and as they help each other up it's clear that it is love at first sight for both of them. She suddenly has no time for the book as her eyes are focused on the young man. As they walk away another, older woman see the book on the floor, picks it up and tries to give is back to the girl but she is lost in the crowd.
The older woman puts the book in her bag and heads for a graveyard where she lays flowers at the grave of her late husband. As she reaches in her bag for the flowers she instead pulls out the book. She begins to read it and her tears of sorrow turn to tears of joy...
That's as far as I've got but I think it has scope for more stories of how the book affects people. It's kind of my homage to literature and the important role reading has played, not just in my life but in everyone's lives.
So what do you think? If you're interested I'd love to hear from you. My email is samc@massproducedfilms.co.uk
Kind regards
Sam
