Director looking to team up with a co-writer for comedy short.

Hey all!

Hope all is well. I am a writer-director and producer based in London and Manchester looking to work with a co-writer on my next project. You can find my past work here: www.joecrabtree.net

I am currently in the final stages of my latest short "The Soup", a short comedy centred around accent prejudice and was SP pick for June 2023. The film was shot by a NFTS crew, and we are hoping to submit it to festivals in the coming weeks.

Now looking for a co-writer to collaborate on a future project. As much of my work is 10 minutes+, I am especially keen to work with writers who are familiar with 'short' shorts (around the 5-10 minute mark). I have a set of rough drafts/ideas which I am keen to develop with a writing partner. Stylistically, I aim for my projects to be engaging and entertaining - while still having an underlying purpose. References: Ruben Ostlund, Billy Wilder, Bong Joon-Ho.

Preferable if you are based in London or Manchester too - but not essential.
