Just wondering if there is a template that helps to format the credits etc.

Are you boycotting google or something?
Google suggests there are sites and templates in abundance. The one I glanced at just now seems to require Adobe Spark, but you should be able to get a month's free trial of Spark.
Here's some things that may be what you are after (haven't looked at them myself) -

thanks for this!
Do you by any chance have experience with movie poster credits, the ones that go at the bottom of the poster?

Hi Ottilie,
You can find the credit text you are looking for on font websites such as DaFont. They work perfectly in Photoshop or InDesign although a little cumbersome to use at first

I would advocate Canva, I use it (as an author) for various book covers, posters and such like and find it very easy to navigate and use. It depends on your media sources and other bits but the foundations are there and I have had some very good results from it.
Best of luck.

Credit block - the font you need is "steeltongs" which has glyphs for "Produced By" etc on a split line, makes it trivially easy to get right and is free (genuinely free and no rights restrictions).
https://fonts2u.com/steeltongs.font and many other sources.

You can also check out Creative Market for poster templates and other design shortcuts.

Assuming you want to pay something for your poster and get someone else to do it then I have had some luck with Fiverr.com. I've used them for logos, posters and voiceovers. Get in touch via SP if you want some samples of work I have had done.
