Filming in a moving car

Trying to find a car transporter company to put a car on a low-loader and drag it around whilst I shoot inside the car with two actors. Does anyone have any contacts?

If money's tight you might also hire a car transporter trailer. You'd need a suitable vehicle to tow it with. We have a good but old Land Rover Discovery and a good but old car trailer that works for us. One also needs a B+E endorsement. (Up to 3,500 kilo gross towing vehicle with such a trailer). Bit easier for me than most. We have lots of space to keep lots of tools collected over time so rarely need to go on quests for production equipment.

We've used Anglo American before, very happy with them. Just be aware a film low-loader is a bit different than just a regular low-bed trailer - there are often seats, extra grip, harness points, power, etc as well as a grip with specialist knowledge in order to do the job safely.

Insurance ought to be informed too.

Thanks for the advice gents. I have had some quotes and decided its overkill to try and do this on the road so I am going to test a PMP with green screen and see what I get.

Lighting is very important if you are doing it green screen. Lighting has to move to sell the 'movement' of the car.
