INDEXFirst teaser trailer for a microbudget British feature
10 years, 7 months ago - Alex Richardson
Hello! We're currently in post-production on the main edit for a microbudget feature DON'T. STOP. RUNNING and recently released our first teaser. If you get a moment, have a peek (it's on the website - www.dontstoprunning.co.uk ) and let me know what you think! There's also a series of blog posts in the 'making of' section of the site where I'm talking about the process of how we made the film - which hopefully might be useful to some of you.
Best Wishes,
Alex Richardson.

Looks reasonably well shot, but not enough to information to leave me wanting more. A treasure hunt, why? And why these two brothers? What's the big secret/reveal? I know it's just a teaser, but a slightly more suspenseful buildup about the plot, instead of a kinetic montage might be more impactful. Just feel like I've seen it all before.

It does looks well shot; and presented. It's only a very short teaser Patrick; how much of the story can one reveal in such? I though it provided a reasonable amount of insight to the general style and direction. It's described as micro budget but these days that might mean anything at all, some say £3m is low. But for me low budget means less than £300K and micro budget means running on little more than vapours and the generosity of friends; would I agree with Alex's description I'd be intrigued to know? There's an old adage, that has some merit for me, that suggests that there are only seven stories but with an infinite number of themes. The older one gets the more one has seen it all before but doesn't mean that they are less compelling. I thought Alex's teaser promising. The web site is good too, though no one is credited as camera, DOP? Only the under water and drone guys.
Hope it goes well for all concerned and a very lovely outcome for all that effort.
