Got to giggle at that. There's few industries like ours where the equipment and technologies lose value and usefulness so quickly. At least new kit these days is getting cheaper and.better; every few months it seems. It's now possible to set up a pretty decent 4K production and post production facility at broadcat standard, well as near as damn it, for as little as three grand; if one knows how to duck and dive.
