Yes, I am looking for an accountant in Romania, not the UK. But who knows, I may return sometime.
And I am having trouble communicating with accountants here, so maybe a consultation with a UK accountant can help me clarify my 'pitch.' (It is not a language issue. I have been at this roadblock before in my native language, but not with accountants.)
If you are a working actor, a screenwriter, self-published author, or freelancer otherwise in film or creative industries, can you give me a guide to how much to expect for accounting fees in the UK?
In the off chance someone can recommend an artist's accountant in Romania, that would be great too. Or a British accountant who can somehow file accounts in Romania.
Also, any information on how to communicate with accountants (especially abroad) would be appreciated.

In the absence of an Actor's Union in Romania, it may well be worth contacting The Romainia Filmmakers Union, they must have members who make use of tried and tested accountants especially those who understand the industry and the taxation liabilities within Romania.

Thank you for that. I wish I thought about the filmmakers union earlier, looking at their website I see the Caen codes and other things that could have saved me so much time.
