HOW TO MARKET YOUR FILM ONLINE

Does anyone have experience promoting their film online by working with social media networkers and viral marketing campaigners to drive traffic to streaming websites?

If you have an innovative and original film, it should be easy to attract traffic. That's derivitive of someone else's comment elsewhere :)

That's just unfair. You've combined elements of my question here with a comment I made somewhere else. So, you've created a false premise to criticize me. Are you sure you don't write for the Daily Mail?

What makes your comment really annoying is that the question I'm asking is important to every person that needs to sell their film via a streaming website.

Davina, my point is that if you say that about writers attracting producers and directors, why can't the same apply to filmmakers attracting audiences?

The answer you gave elsewhere was annoying to writers who are trying to sell their screenplays. And yes, it's important to writers to sell what is often thousands of hours of labour.

Want to play fair? Then treat others as you would be treated, and don't be a jerk. Then, if the world is fair, then you'll have a better chance of attracting more talented writers, and investors and customers, and make more marketable films.
