Hello everyone on shooting people. I'm Bicky Henriques. I'm a young independent freelance filmmaker.
I am currently in the process of setting up my own independent Film/TV entertainment production company called
Mini Productions. I have got a business mentor & i'm at the near end of completing my business plan for my production company. Please note i will remain a freelance filmmaker tho. I will be getting a business grant to set up properly soon.
Anyway for the sake of my business plan i am currently looking for 3 or 5 example customers please to say that you are interested in using any of my services such as anything to do with Advertising your business or assisting with film making or if your a new or experienced musician & you will like me to help you do a music video.
But remember you will be just example customers for me to note down in my business plan.
Which means none of you who vouch to be my example customers don't really have to use any of my production company services unless you want to. Anyway if any of you on shooting people will like to be my example customers then please
Email me at miniproductions@bickyhenriques.com you can all view my new website on
www.bickyhenriques.com
A big thanx to anybody who vouch to be my examples customers. Bicky.

When someone says in public that they want you to produce something for them, they are planning their credibility at stake. For some people, that may not be a big deal anyway, but for 'clients' who already have professional profiles (the only ones that matter in an approach for finance) they are using their social and industrial currency and credibility for you. That's a high price to pay for someone unknown.
Just had a look at your website, it seems to have a lot of photos of you posing with a clapper board and other props - that's not the image I'd expect of a prospective producer. Instead I'd expect to see maybe some clips of video of previous productions, links to articles, and examples of the kinds of projects you're soliciting.
You say you're ready to take on big budget features, I don't honestly think that's true, nor will any investor. That actually counts against them engaging you because they think you might not know your strengths and weaknesses yet. Features are stressful, producers don't hang around with clipboards, the reality is you'll rarely see them as they're spending the whole day wrestling spreadsheets trying to keep the production on the rails, so you can see how the photos on the site don't tell the same story as the words.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe you are ready to handle million pound budgets, I don't know - neither do backers, but they do at least know that you're sending mixed messages and will steer clear. Stick to stuff you've already produced, that sends a far clearer message than a photo on a sofa with a dog does.
If you haven't made anything yet, start in the morning and make a 30 second short end to end. It'll be clunky, but then when you make another one the next day, it'll be easier. Then again. Then make a free pop promo/music video for a band. Then another one. Then another one. Soon you'll have some real showreel behind you, and that is what you need on your site.

No no no Bicky! You can't do that! It would be fraud. Please do be very careful about what you write anywhere in the internet, or indeed anywhere at all. Everything is a matter of record including anything you post on shooting people, pretty much for ever. Your naivety is profoundly self evident. I don’t question your talent and potential either way as there’s nothing to make a judgement from. You’ll either need to produce some stuff that demonstrates your skills or get involved with others who can give you an opportunity to so do and get credits.
It seems to me that you’re trying to put the cart before the horse.
Listen to what others have been telling you here. I’m sure we all want you to be happy and successful but please don’t shoot yourself in the foot whilst getting there.
Wishing you many blessings and much joy.
