I've been spending too long looking at free courses. So, to save the rest of you time in deciding which one might be right for you, I've reviewed four of the best I've found.
And I'm serious when I say "if you want to work for Ptara..." That was one awesome course, at least considering the way we like to work. (It might not be as relevant for Working Title or Aardman.)

Other good ones may be available, let me know if you have any that I might have missed.

Thank you Vasco- this is a great resource.
I was on the verge of starting the FutureLearn (Business of Film) course, but suddenly the Documental course looks more attractive... Any other Shooters done either of these courses?
I would thoroughly recommend the FutureLearn (Explore Filmmaking) course. I loved it, and I think it's still active.

I've looked at the Business of Film course, and there are some useful things in it, especially for the newbie.
I think part of the problem is that a lot of it is unclear, and it doesn't include anything made outside of the system. But, if you want to go the Working Title route, or BBC film route, I think it'll help.
Explore filmmaking was a fun course, and my seven year old loved it. My main problem is that it was taught by students, and can be misleading as far as costs go. If you're hiring professionals, you pay people for their time. Parts of this course assumes that everyone works for free. But, the variety of voices helps to dispel this myth.
I hope you enjoy the course, and get a lot from it.
I still say books and experience are better, but if you're stuck in the house and don't have a library near by, these are great (and some can be fun to do with friends and family.)
Happy shooting,
Vasco
