Good afternoon as it is here,
I'm a UK-based self, and traditionally, published author and am trying to find ways to get my source stories noticed. I have turned some of my shorter works into screenplays but feel I am not doing the stories total justice in the screenplays I have written. I have pitched one or two on here but seem to lack the best selling devices or else am not pitching them right.
I have written a number of different projects which all centre on thriller, mystery and adventure.
My main six-part novelette series is an adventure series reminiscent of the old "historical monster/mythology adventure" style stories. These, however, have led to a full-length modern day setting novel which brings the story from a younger audience to adults. I always keep my stories levelled on relatable characters and journeys that test them not only physically but emotionally and mentally. My traditional published work was a horror short story, first-person set for a post-apocalyptic anthology.
I'm looking for advice or else someone to work with who can (hopefully) see the promise in the stories I am trying to tell. I am well aware I am out of my depth and that is why I am seeking some help.
I have numerous titles that may be of interest but you can find out more on my main website www.tobeyalexander.com
Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

Hi Tobey... While you're looking for a collaborator, the latest episode of Scriptnotes is with the filmmaker who adapted Call Me By Your Name and is a pretty in-depth look at the process of book to film... Also try watching film versions of books you love and the decision made/compromises made. I did this with Wake In Fright... the Donald Pleasance character of the Dr is barely in the book, but in the film he is larger than life and used to externalise the protagonists doubts and fears without feeling like they're thoughts in someone's head... Podcast is at https://johnaugust.com/2018/call-me-by-your-name
