Roughly how much does production insurance tend to cost?

Details:

- 3 Day short film shoot in a single studio location in London.
- Overall budget £10,000
- Equipment cost £2,500

Are we talking hundreds?

Public liability, hired in kit with extended cover, on a general policy I pay about a tenner a month. More for shorter blasts, so maybe £50-100 or so? It's likely to be "minimum premium" territory, so you might find a 3 week shoot costs the same as 3 days. Contact several brokers, Essex come up fairly often for short film insurance policies
