How would the graph would look for scifi, would you say?

That's because scifi is a cross over genre. For example, the new Star Trek is scifi, but would be considered action. A lot of scifi would be considered horror. And more still would be considered drama; Ex Machina.

Also, since it's AFM, we're talking a lot foreign sales. So an American comedy might not translate in Japan. Whereas an action film without much dialogue might do quite well.
