Ah. Is it something that this pub does often? Once a month etc etc? Thank you Glyn!

Not been there for quite a while, but 93 Feet East on Brick Lane used to (at least) host film events and has a bar http://93feeteast.co.uk/about/. So does Montys Bar on Brick Lane - there's a bar upstairs and screening facilities downstairs. Also, Deptford Cinema has a little bar space but that's more cinema than pub.

In London, in a pub/bar type environment, we screened at Sunday Shorts and Shorts on Tap.

Hi everyone,
I co-run Forest Film Club. We have a monthly short film evening called Short Film Thursdays which is at The Birds in Leytonstone on the last Thursday of every month.

We've got some amazing short films lined up for our January event and we're currently accepting submissions for our February and March events. Unlike some of the other events mentioned, it is free for filmmakers to send in their films. Each chosen filmmaker gets one free ticket and is invited to take part in one of the Q&A sessions - but there is no pressure to take part if you would prefer not to.

If you have a film that you would like us to consider, send a link to forestfilmclub@gmail.com. And if you'd just like to come and check out the event, tickets are £4 in advance and £5 on the door. For more details search for Forest Film Club on Facebook or visit: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/forest-film-club-presents-short-film-thursdays-tickets-53463771580
