I'm starting a collaboration with an academic to upload audio recordings of classical epics to Mixcloud. (You can find some tests at www.mixcloud.com/xderevo. I'm looking for a new or used Sony PCM-M10 recorder for the purpose, even though they were discontinued last year. Does anyone have one they don't use anymore and would be interested to sell? Alwyne thanks - they're pricey for used models though, and I can only find one European model there (£285)

Sony DAT Walkman is an excellent high quality device too. Battery and mains power. Much overlooked by some professionals. There's the small inconvenience of tape but you can find them much under £100 used (Was over £500 new over a decade ago). We'd never sell ours. They usually come with a compact and very good Sony adjustable spectrum stereo mic. We recorded a big choir on ours with that little mic. That choir was was also recorded by a TV crew at the same time using a full broadcast rig. The broadcaster preferred and used our recording!
