A third 'Solent Shooter' South coast based film maker gathering is being held on Tuesday 9th August at 'The Coach and Horses, Portsmouth. (London Road, Hilsea, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO2 9SE). This is an opportunity to meet up with like minded film makers who live in this part of the world. There is a Facebook group page called 'Solent Shooters' if you'd fancy joining that. Would be good to hear from interested and enthusiastic people. Get involved!

Hi, I just found this post a bit late. I'm based in Derbyshire but travelling down to Southampton/Portsmouth shortly on business. I'm actually looking to network with others interested in making no-budget films. I've just bought my own (very basic) DSLR and sound equipment and I'm looking for someone to train me and get me moving. I've actually been traning as an actor for a couple of years but now I've started writing and I want to make my own films. I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction?! If anyone has any ideas please get in touch.
