I have lately asked different questions on Your Forum and received numereous answers.
My discussion were about How to start a Featured film, then Documentary Film, then about Corporate films and after that if anyone is interested in Financial Cooperation.Meaning I will put some money in.
I received different warnings because of my "naivite",or no experience,
which I respect very much HOWEVER received numereous practical propositions, which I do consider, for getting involved in projects.
This might be a beginning for me in a new career.
Thank You for that.
Am open to more suggestions..

Sorry for my delayed answer,Dan,This since I was on a plane.
Your remarks are straightforward and I respect that.
No harm done.Same with others.
If you would not care, you would not write.
I think that I learned from you in this forum, more than in City lit. They teach technicalities, you teach feelings.Continue this way,Dan.

It IS a great organization. I live in Los Angeles, yet I belong to a U.K. co-op. I have no reason for that. Really, it doesn't do me much good over here. But I've worked in London--so many years ago--and love the place. Perhaps SP people brings back fond memories, though the world has changed a lot since the 80s. I do love shooting people, and have met quite a few that I respect greatly (Paddy, John, Marlom, Franz, Karel, and many others).

As for the "beginner" comments toward you... Look, here's the deal: some of us have been around for a long, long, time. We've been in every situation that this industry has to offer. In other words, we've been completely screwed--a lot. We may be short with you, or understanding, or patient, or simply informative. But when it comes right down to it: we don't want you making the same mistakes we did.

God knows, I've been called an asshole a lot in these forums, as I'm not very diplomatic. I taught for a bit, and found that being a curmudgeon got the point across better than being diplomatic. Plus I tend to swear a lot. In Hollywood, that's not a problem. We've taken it to an art form. But here, at SP, people take it differently than my meaning, so I sound a bit harsh. So let me say, without reservation, that if I have insulted you in any way, my apologies. Too, I hope, that I've given some good advice.

Welcome to the forums, Gary.
