Sounds like a good workshop. I casted my microbudget films in the past, but am always open to hearing new perspectives.

Hi Ibukun,
Thank you for reaching out to all of the shooting people community and your incredibly generous offer to put on free workshop /s re casting direction as someone who in the past has personally paid two and a half thousand pounds a week (a special super discount bargain basement rate) for the services of a casting director for a film that failed to actually roll, I for one would love to attend and greatly appreciate your extremely kind offer as a working professional. Secondly, for the Shooting People members outside London, when this event takes place could myself or similar film it for free to then provide a Vimeo free link so that all the Shooting People community to far afield to attend can also benefit from your workshop, please?

Hi Ray

I definitely wouldn't mind you shooting it for the rest of the film community. but I often find that the workshops are most effective, usually because many ask questions they wouldn't be able to ask once filmed and posted. but yes I do think its a good idea to film it.

What a great idea and thank you for the offer!! I'd love to hear what you have to say as it'll also be very interesting from an actor's perspective. Unfortunately (actually fortunately for me as I'll be going for a week in the sun) I'll be on a plane that day but if Ray was able to video it that would be fantastic.
