Hello from Richard-I need for a Truck to film in as a location for a short. The location would be in London.
The truck would remain static for the shoot. Please help or recommend where I can get one in London for this short.
Also if you know of Army trucks too all the better, but they do not have to be, please reply, thanks.

How about renting a Luton from any hire place and sticking it on your drive/some private land for the day?

I'm imagining that you're looking for something that's more like a truck than a van ? Many modern light commercial vehicles are more like scaled up cars than trucks.
Obviously most commercial vehicles that can be hired are new models not easily disguised as being either military or period.
For those with pre EU regulations driving licences they can drive up to 7,500 kilogram trucks on their standard car license. Such 7.5 tonners are proper lorry often scaled down version of much heavier types and can be hired by the day from numerous companies.
For earlier period types, such as military vehicles of the 40's and 50's, there are reenactment 'clubs' whose members operate numerous types, many of whom would delight in getting involved with films, including low budget ones only able to pay honourariam rates. It's been a while since I sought such but a good Google search should be enough
