Hey Filmies!
I've acquired a Super 8 camera and Film costs are 70£ per roll (price includes development) which is around 2.5 minutes of footage.

It would be a great way to try shooting on film, make little shorts , meet new creatives and have something nice for our portfolios. We could split the cost for film and I'd be happy to finance it on projects I really like.
I personally would like to make Narrative shorts, Fashion Films and Music Videos but all ideas are welcome.
If anyone is interested get in touch please!
Writers, DOP's, MUA , Set designers , Costume designers, Art Directors, sound designers ect.

Hey if you're looking for an eager, active filmmaking community, check out Godiva Films, based in southwest, the they make one short film every month. Send them an email and ask to come to the next pitching meet up on the 28th, I'll be there :)
A little bit about me: aspiring fiction director with a background in theatre, recently returned from my first run at the Edinburgh Fringe, experienced voice actor, generally good with a camera, decent amateur editor and writer.

Hiya! You have your DoP. I'd love to get involved. I've got a wicked script that I'm working on bringing to life right now, a showreel to make and I'd like to film ballerinas and music videos!! I'm central London based. I'm new to this but good and I have a live of a special shot and an eye for stunning light. Count me in!

Hi,
I'm interested to find out more. I have my own super 8 camera too but it's pretty budget. I've shot some in the past and I'd like to shoot more super 8. I'd definitely like to gain more knowledge of different stocks, etc.

Hi, I'd love to join the group. I am a producer/PM but I dabbled quite a lot with super 8 a few years ago and even started developing my own film in a small studio in Brick Lane (still pricey but it did help with some costings) Would be great to talk through ideas/the format with you more.

I did some shooting with super 8 when I was getting started in film, and though I'm shooting digital now I do miss those days!

It sounds great. I used to have a super8 and made a few films back in the day. I have done a lot of screenwriting, some acting, and directed short films. I am new to London and I would like to be involved with a community of filmmakers.
