I believe, many beginners in filmmaking have a dilemma how to start first short and maybe even future film. From one side seems it's an easy part, but from another, require a lot of work, but it’s not impossible.
I'm looking for people, to form a filmmaking collaborative in London, UK.
I want to creat a team in which we can teach each other and learn from each other and as a result get high-quality product of the film industry.
I have a lot of ideas, I am writing some stories, can do many of other roles relaited to this subject. Just need next to me a people who think like me, who want to move "stone from his place".

Hello Olena, I'm a camera operator from Uxbridge, Middlesex. I agree with you on the fact that as a upcoming filmmaker, it is extremely difficult to kickstart. I've been searching for people with ideas for short stories, so I can assit on the camera side of things. I'm definatly up for helping on developing ideas.

Happy to collaborate and develop ideas. I am based at Hemel Hempstead. Have made couple for short films (mostly dark in nature) and worked as AD on feature Film sets. Will be glad to join a project.

Hi Olena,
Good idea to start a film making collaborative in a particular geographical area so that people can meet conveniently.
I am also based in Hemel Hempstead currently looking for someone to review a script, particularly getting the emotonal dialogue right.
On previous projects I have undertaken a wide range of roles from writing and storyboarding through to lighting, camera operation, editing and VFX with After Effects.

Yes, you are right to start a film in a place, which most people can come easily. In first, thank you for your interested. The most important now how to move farther. Seems like all people who show interest, had experience in filmmaking.

Hi Olena, I'm a writer based in Aylesbury. Had some success in the 'noughties' through the old Digital Short scheme and then a few near misses with features since then. Would love to meet up with other creatives in the area.

If you’re still looking to collaborate with more people I would be happy to help and get some ideas together. I have my own equipment and I have been experimenting with my own kit for a couple of years now, and I’m also writing/planning my own short film so it would be great to work with likeminded peopl.

Happy hear from you and we need people with own them equipment’s. I would love too share thoughts with other filmmakers. I have a few scripts, which need to be adapt to a short film. I don't know which area you are from, but I think Hemel Hemsted and London good place for a meeting. I will let you know about time and date. I think it's will be end of November.

Nick Hilton runs a great group for collaboration: https://www.facebook.com/groups/londonfilmmakingcollaborative/. They have about 4 in person meetups a year in central London.
I have made about 4 short films with the group over two years - they are pretty active.

Hello, to all filmmakers, who was interested in collaboration.
Glad to inform you, what our meeting of collaborators will date on Thursday, 7th of the December 2017, from 19:00 to 21:00 in Ickenham, Glebe Road, UB10 8PD. We will meet up in Compass Theatre, on the reception at 19:00.
I am looking for people, who can support me on production of the short film from script to the screen. I will present idea and description of the film.
