INDEXFilm professionals invited to premiere screening this Sunday.

This Sunday evening (25th), at the Curzon in Bloomsbury, there will be private premiere screenings of my well-received short film, titled INDWELLER. The film's run time is twenty-eight minutes. With three consecutive showings planned between 6pm and 8.30pm, there are a good few seats free, and we'd be happy for those seats to be taken by film professionals - film and TV agents / producers with clout, etc. So, if there are any such people out there in Shooting People land interested in attending on Sunday evening, let me know.
PLOT SUMMARY: Unhappy only-child Emily has been yanked from school to school, and from county to county, by her career-minded single mother. Each time she was uprooted, Emily left friends behind. When they move into a Victorian-built house far away from their previous home, alone in her creaky moonlit room, Emily believes she feels the presence of a long-dead former resident. Has she found a friend she can be with forever?

The lead actress in this film is really good, and it's a testament to what can be made with constrained resources but plenty of time. Alwyne did a great job here, and if anyone can make it, I imagine it'll be a worthwhile night :)

The actress Paddy referred to is Scarlett Rayner. She was 13/14 when we filmed, and is now 15 and a half. Not only is she a great actress, she is also a great singer. So if you project needs someone like her, her agent is Brooke Kinsella at True Stars.

Great news Alwyne. Wish I could be there. It's a 380 mile round trip issue for me. Hope to see your film 'electronically' sometime soon though? What's the films title?
Congratulations on yet another achievement dear chap. And if Paddy's endorsing it, it's going to be a great event at the Curzon. Would love to know all the technical and cast details too.
28 minutes is a BBC half hour and an ITV 38 minutes. A proper slot filler on anyone's channel. Just thinking aloud.

Hi Alwyn,
Unfortunately I don't get down to London next until the Monday. Any chance I could have a private link to view please. Could you also send on contact details for Scarlet's parent/guardian/agent if possible please.
Best
Brendan

For those who have asked, Scarlett's agent is currently Brooke Kinsella at True Stars - http://truestarsacademy.com/index.php/the-true-stars-agency/
However, as her agency only represents under-16s, Scarlett is now looking around for a new agent. She'll be 16 in March.

Hi Alwyne, I can't get to the screening, but I'd be very happy to review it for you for 'Britflicks'? This is a great achievement as it's such a long short, and you've clearly got good talent attached. Can you send me a link please? Best wishes and good luck for Sunday, thanks Jane
