badly needs producers will @ the EIS / SEIS workshop @ regent University have 3 /4 concept
1) the Number current 2nd redraft)
2) the Pi man 20mins short just reposted)
3) The cell writing for an actor
4) The face at the window 85 page adaptation
v keen to short cut short 'Deadend' networking keeping up contact with crew and producers is v trying at times, Chris Jones has been amazing this year.
the development + pay is very dense. got afew more events @ the event bucket by the DGGB.
just keen for producer practicaliies beyond SPVs, budgets,

My brother has dyslexia and uses the Dragon software which turns talk into text. He is currently doing his PHd at the moment too and find it of great benefit. Here is a link http://www.nuance.co.uk/dragon/index.htm
Good luck

Sorry John, really not sure what you're asking? If you re-read the post it's quite confusing, so I'm not sure what to say...
If you're asking how EIS works, I'd suggest talking to an accountant - it's a little involved and more specifically nobody here is able to give anything that may be construed as 'financial advice'?
If it's about which projects to put forward, I'd suggest the feature is the only one to bother with - EIS still means real investors and shorts don't make money, so are unlikely to attract backers. In fact you may find you need an SPV to even be a contender, and that doesn't make economic sense on shorts.

Crikey mate! You've just typed that straight into the reply box haven’t you? What you wrote in the first paragraph is just about decipherable. Thought it’s not quite clear as to who you are saying is wasting whose time? I commiserate with you for having to deal with at least two challenging issues but would suggest yet again that if you can write to this forum you can also use Word to help with grammar, construction and spelling? It’s easy to learn to use and will help enormously.
Your last line;
“I'm not some camera crew all that useful in the 'usage' and that it ....?” Is exceptionally difficult to make sense of and might be understood or misunderstood in a number of different ways.
I really do believe, within in the context of all that you have shared with this forum since you've joined it, that cracking this particular issue is a priority for you and it’s a certainty that all of the other members here only want you to succeed and be happy.
Thanks for your openness and transparency and much appreciation for your enthusiasm and determination.

JDC - I PM'd you back, it may be a lot easier face-to-face if you get my drift! I'll be back in Bath end of next week if you want to try that.

John,
What producers really require is that they think that you are someone they can do business with. And the key to that is pitch perfect communication skills both writing and in person.
If they don't buy you at that level, you might be treated politely, but not seriously.
Good luck

I'd like to mirror John's thoughts: we do indeed want you to succeed. I, too, have pointed out your confusing posts, and it's not out of meanness. It truly is a meager attempt to help.

I think what Marlom is trying to say very politely is that you really do have a problem with all of your posts, in that they always present as being written by someone with a severe case of dyslexia. I too have had to deal with my own dyslexia and for that reason I'm so very grateful for the spell check facility on word. I write all my letters and other items such as with this, in Word and then carefully consider all of the suggested corrections and then simply copy and paste into the reply box, as in this particular case. I also re-read what I've written so as to at least make some attempt to prevent great howlers from being published.
Your message above is more significant for its glaring grammatical, spelling and constructive errors than for its actual purpose, even if someone can actually understand what that is. It means that no matter how precociously talented you may otherwise be, for those people who can only ‘get you’ from what you write they’re probably not going to be able to take you very seriously. Finding a way to mitigate your dyslexia or dyslexic like condition is vital. I’ll suggest that gain. It’s VITAL. It will take that extra bit of care and effort but I found that it became second nature for me, allowing the often exceptionally more positive aspects of the condition to shine through. Apart from enhanced spacial awareness dyslexia does have a number of mitigating aspects that are particularly suited to film making, and ironically, articulating ideas into words.
Blessings and joy
