Tether

Adam Evelyn is a 55 year-old gay man and drag performer, whose stage name is Eve Adams. Heather McCormack is a 17 year-old girl who's been in foster care most of her life, and whose mother and stepfather are alcoholics. Heather and Adam meet when she sneaks into his dressing room in a theatre. He takes an interest in her and asks her to become his dresser, and a bond develops between them. Adam's world is turned upside down when he falls in love with Heather. It's not so much a sexual attraction, but more of a deeper kind of love, something he has never felt before. But these feelings are hard to reconcile with.
