Blood For Blood is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, updated and set in 1980's Harlem, NYC. Thane McBride runs a nightclub, and is a drug dealer during the rise of the crack-cocaine epidemic of the 1980s. After encountering three Santeria priestesses in Central Park, McBride experiences hallucinogenic visions, and with relentless pushing from his ambitious wife to take over the drug empire run by his mentor King Ducane he assassinates Ducane. Blood For Blood also features the rise of Hip Hop and Free-styling music of the era.
