The Dark Pier

When the clocks go forward, evil comes back. Whilst learning the ropes as a Nightwatchman on a popular pier amusement arcade “Angry” Ashcroft, an insomniac former child prisoner, is confronted by his inner demons that physically manifest themselves into the world around him forcing him to relive his turbulent childhood. Based on real-life experiences of night terrors and psychological disturbances "The Dark Pier" is a supernatural horror with a difference. Blurring the ever changing line between reality and perceived reality and told largely in real time the bulk of the film is set on a seaside pier at night in the "anomalous" extra hour when the autumn clocks go back, reflecting the repetition of events within the script across not only the night but also the life of the lead character.
